BWNC Editing Contest Submission

Black With No Cream (Podcast) held an editing competition where BWNC provided the footage shot by Michael Parenteau. The assignment was to highlight editing skills focused on sound design. BWNC and Michael Parenteau provided footage and a trial to the music subscription Epidemic Sound. Here was my submission:

Analogue Travels

A brand that my friend and very talented photographer/filmmaker Arturo Contreras created. This is a BTS video of a photoshoot that he did.

Was learning how to develop black and white 35mm film, plus I had just gotten a new gimbal, so why not make a video about it?

Challenged by myself to make a time-lapse every day for a week.

The top was my favorite; the second is my best iteration of experimentation. After I made all the time-lapses he challenged me to make it abstract.

Bored during the pandemic, I saw an Adidas ad that had this cool effect, so I recreated it.
